Refund policy

Social Hour Tickets

  • Social Hour tickets are non-refundable.

  • If you are unable to attend a scheduled Social Hour, you may request a make-up ticket by contacting us within 24 hours of the event date listed on your ticket.

  • Make-up tickets can be applied to a future Social Hour of your choice, subject to availability.

Event Tickets

  • Event tickets are refundable if a cancellation request is submitted via email within 48 hours of purchase.

  • For members-only events, tickets cannot be transferred to non-members.

Grow! Sessions

  • Grow! Sessions are organized on a daily basis.

  • To cancel a session, you must submit a request at least 7 days prior to your scheduled session time (down to the exact hour and minute listed in your session’s invitation email). This can be done by emailing hello@betteraroundus.com

  • Cancellations made before the deadline are only eligible for a 75% refund.

  • Due to the significant planning involved—including group matching, venue reservations, and limited availability—no refunds are available for cancellations made after the deadline.

Memberships

  • Membership fees directly support our programs and community initiatives.

  • Monthly memberships are non-refundable.

  • Annual memberships may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a 75% refund, minus the full value of any events attended during that period.

    • Example: If you hold a Silver Membership, attend two $25 Social Hour events, and cancel within 14 days, $50 will be deducted from your refund.

  • Refunds for annual membership are not available after the 14-day period.

  • You may pause your monthly membership for 2 months at any time by contacting us. After 2 months, the charges will resume unless you contact us again or cancel your membership.

  • We encourage members who pause or cancel to remain engaged with the community through our open events and activities.

Merchandise Refund & Return Policy

All merchandise sales are final and non-refundable. Because each purchase helps fund our community programs, we do not issue refunds for any reason.

However, we gladly offer store credit in the form of a Better AroundUs gift card for qualifying returns or exchanges. Please review the following terms carefully:

Return Eligibility

  • Customers have 14 days after delivery to request a return for unused products.

  • For used products, we believe any manufacturing defect will be apparent within 45 days of delivery. After 45 days, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or issue credits.

  • Used products must be returned only if defective

  • All products will be inspected upon receipt.

Shipping & Credits

  • Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost, which will be deducted from the credit amount.

  • A prepaid shipping label will be provided for damaged or defective items at no charge.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging when possible. If unavailable, customers may use suitable alternative packaging.

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a store credit or a replacement based on your request and item availability.

Store Credit Use

  • Store credit or gift cards cannot be used toward event tickets unless explicitly stated on the card.

  • If a purchase using store credit or a gift card is attempted, the order will be cancelled.

No Cash Refunds

We do not issue refunds to the original form of payment under any circumstances.
